We are just over half way through the year, so how does it look so far for
worldwide box office?
The pre-summer season was off to a good start with Dune: Part Two and Godzilla x Kong. But it's been a tough year so far for the summer season. It was the lowest grossing month of May in decades. The Fall Guy, Furiosa and IF have all failed to perform as anticipated. Kingdom of the Planet of Apes has done well but studios are starting to scratch their head to see what they can do to find a hit.
Here are the top 10 films of 2024, with worldwide grosses for each movie so far, production budgets and Rotten Tomatoes score.
